This inspection includes:

  • Dye Test Toilets – This determines if your toilet has a water leak.
  • Inspect Faucets for Leaks – Leaky faucets can waste 200 gallons of water per day.
  • Inspect Exposed Water Supply Lines – Uncovers old and deteriorating lines.
  • Inspect Washing Machine Hoses – Old hoses can cause major damage and reduce cleaning effectiveness.
  • Inspect Sink Piping – To detect corrosion or deterioration.
  • Inspect Outside Sill Cocks – Leaks and sill cocks without vacuum breakers can be hazardous.
  • Inspect & Tag All Emergency Water Shut Offs – It is important they are easily found and operational.
  • Inspect Drain Valve Operation (Water Heater) – The drain valve flushes sediment from the tank and drains water in case of repairs or replacement.
  • Test Operation of Emergency Shut Off – In case of an emergency, location and proper operation is important.
  • Inspect for Gas Leaks (Gas Water Heater) – Undetected gas leaks are very dangerous.
  • Inspect for Water Leaks (Gas & Electric Water Heaters) – Leaks indicate a serious problem.
